It Don’t Stop Here

Saved, Sanctified, Holy Ghost Filled, Fire Baptized

Yes, you are saved because you have repented, excepted Christ, received the Holy Ghost, but it don’t stop there, you must seek that relationship with God, come in his presence.

Jesus redeemed man back to God,
The Holy Spirit keeps you
But it is God that longs for that relationship that brings you into his presence.

Coming into his presence keeps the flesh dead. You can’t do it fully without that special relationship.

In the beginning was the word. The word was in three beings, the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost. All three had its works, but the Holy Ghost and the Son had their works only to please the Father.

Once we accept Christ, we get the baptism of the Holy Ghost, it comes in and helps to keep us and these two leads us to God. All their working is to please the Father.

How much more then do we also need to seek to please our Father in Heaven.

In Genesis 1:26, God made man and in the still of the evening Adam always communed with God. He had fellowship with his Father, his maker, his God. He had a relationship with God.

This fellowship, this relationship with God is one of continuous joy. You should be joyful to live the gospel.

To live the gospel, except Christ. Christ is the gospel and this gospel is carried through on to the father.

Adam fellowshipped with God.
Jesus had fellowship with God.

He was God on earth and he fellowshipped with his Father. He sought to please the father. Who are you trying to please?

God wants to see righteousness in us.
In Genesis 7:1, God tells Noah, come thou and all thy house into the Ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation. As God had promised him in Genesis 6:18 that he would establish his covenant, and that they would come into the Ark, him and his family.

When you have a true relationship with God, all you want is righteousness. To do those things that are right.

Man must realize that God is the creator. He created the Earth. It was without form and void, a mass of nothing. He brought the universe into being. All three persons of the trinity however were active in this creation. The Spirit of God (as we know it, the Holy Spirit) was active in that it moved over the waters, garnished the heavens, renewed the earth and it sustained life. It sustains us now, as it is housed in our temples and wants to recreate us back to Christ. The Holy Spirit work to please the Father. All three persons of the trinity were active. They obeyed and they worked. John 1:3 tells us that Jesus Christ created all things for the father.

They created the whole earth, but there was nothing like God until he made man in Genesis 1:26. He made man in his likeness and his image. He made man just like himself. When man disobeyed God, he retained an impaired image of God. To regain that likeness we go through the process of salvation. Our spiritual likeness to God is restored in justification. Our character likeness to God is continuously developed through sanctification. We will be like Christ physically when we are glorified. God wants to conform us to the image of Christ. To love him is to obey and to live the gospel.

He created us to the praise of his glory. In Ephesians 1:3, God hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in Christ. It says blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.

We were chosen before the foundation of the world.
We were predestinated into the adoption of Jesus Christ.
We were created to the praise of the glory of his grace.
And we have redemption through the blood of Jesus Christ, which brings us to the Father.

Our relationship doesn’t stop at Jesus, but it continues to the Father. Jesus adoption of us is all the work of the Father. He is our intercessor, but the intercessor doesn’t move without the Spirit. Remember, the Spirit did the work. God spoke it, the Spirit moved on it and Jesus redeems it.

God is the supreme ruler over all. It is his will and purpose we also must fulfill just as Jesus and the Holy Spirit did and still does. If they have to fulfill God’s purpose and will and they were in Heaven with God, what about you and me? Everything is subject to God’s judgment. He is ultimately in control although he indirectly works through others, even Satan.
It doesn’t stop here, but let us continue to know him in his fullness. Let us Live The Gospel everyday, obey all of his word, read our Bibles daily, fast and pray with a diligent heart. For in this, and this only will you find the Father. He rests in his word, he hears our prayer, he loves our sacrifice in fasting and when we obey, he calls us his son.
