Kindness—The Universal Language

If a kind word or two will make the person it is directed feel good then only a mean, hate-filled person will fail to dispense to another.

Kindness is thoughtfulness exuding from those who possesses unselfish personality.

Being kind to others will cause many to take an interest in he or she who take ownership of kindness! Kindness casts spells on receivers as it manifests small but significant acts of attention and consideration of another, granting another the option of going ahead of you in a grocery line; to listen to a hurting teen who was called ugly; or to give a hungry, dirty, smelly, bearded man a cup of hot soup from your thermos bottle on a very cold day.

Kindness is the passport to the world. It is the universal language. Say kind words and the world listens. It makes you welcomed. Like a lubricant to machinery, it strengthens relationships and establishes new ones.

And it costs the giver nothing for her or his investment and effort!


Prayer:

Almighty God, I pray that Your countless examples of unconditional love, mercy and kindness will grow in me so that I can lay down my life in service to others with acts of unconditional love mercy and kindness to Your children, my brothers and sisters, as You did when You walked among us. These things I pray for in Your Holy Name. Amen.
