I have a new favorite expression....
Re...
...frame.
I have to say it slow like that...
Re...
...frame,
and that is partly,
to honor the length of the journey,
the uneven road,
the difficult conditions,
the wayfaring strangers...
...along the way,
the sentinels posted,
at every dangerous intersection.


When everything was darkest, and there was no exit...
except one,
I
saw
the Light...
...at the end of the tunnel.

Reframe. Reframe. Reframe became my refrain, as I drove away
and I looked back
at the dividing line in my life.
The billboard I left behind on that road?
Oh it was tattered with torn paper whipping
around
the edges of that Giant picture.

The framed picture that stayed tattooed on my soul...
...it was shattered and broken and missing pieces.

Both billboard and picture frame held the face and story of ...a broken soul who unwillingly relinquished her child
...back to her Creator.

One picture I kept close at hand,
in my purse,
on my dresser,
on my screensaver,
on my soul,
to pick up every day...
the other one I kept and stood as a billboard
that screamed at the other travelers....

But that was
a
long
time
ago...
...to others...

So,
I have re-framed this picture/portrait of unspeakable pain.
I have re-papered that billboard on the corner of
Agony
Disbelief
Loss of faith
Loss of hope

I see a new portrait.

I have a new billboard.

This portrait/billboard has been not only re-framed,but...
repainted, re-papered with a brand new scene...
and rehung in my heart.
I can not explain how it happened,
that it was possible to
re
frame
what
happened,
but
it
was
possible....and
it happened to me.
I can not explain it.
But.
I can tell you Who.
I can tell you Who.
