Here we are precious Mama…It is Christmas Eve
Again we only find…It is just you and me
Under our little Christmas tree…No gifts do I find
Only memories…Seasons of joy left behind

But the season…It could not be brighter
My two greatest gifts I have with me
In Christ my King I found a Savior
In you Mama…A mother to be

Saved twice from my unrest
I have been truly blessed

By the blood of One…Giving me eternal rest
Both made me a son…Though I didn’t suckle their breasts

Much has gone…Leaving only wisdom and these
Gone is health and wealth…And too the way of ease
Gone is the hope that this Christmas would be white
Few are the wishes to make the season bright

But the season…It could not be brighter

As we sit by the fire and remember
I have Christ in my heart as a dweller
I have you Mama…And a bright and glorious future
