One night while sleeping, I was blessed with a vision. In the vision my father, God, wanted to play ball with me. He stood in front of me with a large basket filled with large white balls. The balls were so white that they illuminated. He began to throw the balls in a straight path, but I was not in His path. I was off to the side standing in a pit. I stretched as far as I could to catch the balls as they went by, but I missed them all. The Father continued to through the balls in the same direction. I thought he would stop, but he didn't, He kept on throwing. After a while someone said to me, "get out of the pit", but I refused to listen and the balls continued to go by me. The voice returned and said once again, "get out f the pit", yet I chose once again not to listen. The balls started to come faster and I continued to stretch and reach out for the balls but I continued to miss every one. The voice came once again and said, "get out of this pit" and this time I listened. I climbed out of the pit and got in the path the balls were being thrown. There were more than I could catch and they came so fast that I fell down on all the balls I had previously missed. At the end of the vision there was a revelation. The balls that God was throwing were my blessings. God was willing to bless me, but to receive his blessings I would have to be in his path. He would not change his direction. To be blessed I had to get out of my pit and change my direction.

Excellent illustration that simply depicts how we often miss out on the Lord's blessings.
