That Christmas Day

While the star of Bethlehem shone bright-
Baby Jesus slept in its light.
As He lay in the manger's hay,
What did He know on that Christmas Day?
Did the Baby know He was divine
And, like the star, His Light would shine?
Did He know that the cross was ahead
As He lay in His manger bed?
Baby Jesus wrapped in the hay-
What did You know on that Christmas Day?
