Delivered through faith,
to God through Christ.
Though the body yet dieth,
I have everlasting life.

Free from the strife and pain of this world,
free from all bondage and every sin.
Though death for some means life is finished,
for those who love the Lord it is a place to begin.

The face of my Lord and Savior,
Every eye shall definitely see.
Some sooner than others I know,
and that's alright with me.

For whose time is known to him,
no man has this knowledge.
It is up to the God of Heaven to say,
not some doctor fresh from college.

My time could be now,
today, yesterday, or tomorrow.
Whenever that time arrives for me,
Shout hallelujah in joy not sorrow.

When my Savior looks at me,
I want to hear servant well done.
Though your time on earth is over,
Life for you has just begun.
