Your Behaviors Are Your Destiny
© 2014

by

Stephen A. Peterson

And, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the Sabbath Day.

Luke 4:16 (NIV)

Today is yours. You are responsible for everything you do—good or bad; right or wrong. You have no one to blame but yourself for the outcome or outcomes of this day. For your behaviors this day not only make this day, they will be the foundation of your tomorrows however long the Almighty has established for you.

Your behaviors eventually becomes your character; for what you do and repeat become who you are. Spontaneous behavior for what is right makes one an ideal person for others to look to and model. No life, no matter how humble, is prepared for a role unbefitting their second nature—that which becomes one’s habits.

Human behaviors are the avenues through which humanity largely moves, but not every road, street or highway leads to where a person should go or would want to go. So, choose with extreme care, your avenue. Then, with God as your leader and with daily prayer, establish sets of behaviors that will take you on your way to your destiny and a blessed life.

Prayer:

Almighty Father, I pray that you hear my prayers to guide me through the life you have planned for me. Let me glorify You and carry Your Good News to the ends of the earth without fear or embarrassment. These things I pray. Amen
