First Timothy 2:5-6 says for there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. Who gave himself a ransom for all to be testified in due time.

I want to talk about this man Christ Jesus.

Jesus Christ is not just an ordinary man. He is God almighty in flesh. Some people think that Jesus is only a prophet but he is much more than a prophet. Jesus Christ is the lamb of God. He is the answer to the cancer of sin. In St. John 14:6 Jesus says I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh to the Father but by me.

Colossians 1 verse 16:19 states for by him were all things created that are in the heaven and that are in the earth visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or powers: all things were created by him and for him: and he is before all things and by him all things consist. And he is the head of the church: who is the beginning the firstborn from the dead that in all things he might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell.

While the world talks about what they did last night and who they did it with, I want to talk about this man Christ Jesus. Jesus is not a man that he should lie nor the son of man that he should repent. The Lord said it, the Lord did it.
He is the first, and the last, the beginning and the end. He is the only one who can save your soul. Jesus said I am the door of the sheep. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door, by me, if any man enter in he shall go in and out and find pasture. Pasture is only found in this man Christ Jesus.

This man was a sinless man holy, good and just. When Jesus was reviled he reviled not again. When he suffered, he threatened not but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree that we being dead to sins should live unto righteousness by whose stripes ye were healed. For ye were sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Bishop of your souls(1 Peter 23:25).

In concluding, in Jesus is life, and the life was the light of men. Jesus died for the sins of the world and rose again on the third day with all power over heaven and earth. He also has power over hell and over death. He is the way maker, devil slayer, mediator and propitiator for a sinful world. He is the only man that is worthy of praise because he was the only man who did what no man could do. This man Christ Jesus. Amen.
