Dad
i am very glad
to have you in my life
but it brings me so much strife
we try to keep it close
until everything just blows
and we don't talk for months
and then after those few months
i thought i should call
and try not to make it all fall
but it just all starts over again
which brings me to so much pain
so what i am trying to say, is
every single day i pray
is that for maybe one time
you'd give us some time
to bring us back together
and stay that way forever
