I’ve frequently seen broad shouldered, stern faced body guards surrounding our nation’s presidents, dignitaries and celebrities. They know their responsibilities and handle them well. Whether Secret Service agent or privately employed, they diligently guard the designated body.
“Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually (1 Corinthians 12:27 NKJ).”
God does not leave us, His body, defenseless to fend for ourselves. Though the church is under attack by the enemy of our souls, His people stand triumphant. He is a shield of protection, guarding us along our way.
“But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one (2 Thessalonians 3:3 NKJ).”
