But legs once strong
Now buckle beneath
I struggle but I am stout

Attack this challenge, I must face
I’ll push to scale this mount
Yet, Un-like the one that came before
Now I am filled with doubt

My will now broken
Hands on the ground
My defeat is coming sooner

The wind is blowing in my face
And their only getting stronger
Just like the one that came before
It hits me like non other

Oh wait, what is that
Is there someone their
Far in the distance I see a shining light

I can’t conquer this mount that I face
I’ve used up all my might
And just like one that came before
I’ve given up the fight

I see you there
My Lord, my God
To lift me up on high

I see the love in your face
No longer need I climb
You came again just like before
You rescue me every time

Far away in the distance
There’s a mountain coming close
I know I cannot face it; cannot make it stop

So in your arms I’ll keep my place
I’m not scaling any mount
Because just like the one that came before
You’ll take me to the top
