What makes a writer? How do you earn this semi-godliness?
Is it your ability to make up stories? If it is, well life tells the most interesting stories, then people wouldn't have to buy books, they'll simply read news. 'Pardonez moi' I'm talking about one who posesses mastery skills in the use of the pen not a scribe, if you get what I mean (smirk). Is it your precise use of words? Or how well you ink information on papyrus?
To me, a true writer is one who takes real life and preserves it in a world where neither time nor moth can ever erode. His work is not merely encased in the hardcover books that line the bookshelves of a bookstore, but it is a world of its own. Its dimension is not of black and white but of the full colors of existence.
He doesn't just put information on paper, he paints life with words. With his books you get to live a thousand lives. He makes the most trivial substance worth a thousand pages. He sees a story behind every smile or insignigicant shrug. With proficiency, he transforms the mundane into Colossus. His style is dynamic but ever aptly used. A true writer has little limit to expression. Not gender, geography or religion. Each character in the world birthed out of his guts, is given fair perspective. He is not biased, because he has learned to look through the eyes of every actor on his stage. He captures even the minutest detail in his narration. He writes in beautiful intricacy and is many times lost in the freedom his pen awards him. He is ruthless with his imagination, he is fierce in creativity.
For every little butterfly that dances, every ripple on the water, every cloud in the sky; he has a book to write. His words are not great by their sophistication, rather because they walk their way to the reader's heart. They set him free to dream, they put him on fire, they let him live again.
A true writer knows how noble his calling is...
