THE EXPERIENCE II GOD IS NOT DEAD There is no God … A man had said to me With an arrogant nod … There is nothing wrong with greed What you really need… Is what you get paid If it wasn’t for greed … We still would be in caves My reply to this fool … Was instantaneous Maintaining my cool … In self righteousness I could not deny … The sense that he made So I simply cried … Have a good day I left him standing there … With his foolish head I would not take the dare … And declare that God was dead I was living all alone … In a small Western town I found myself prone … After being tossed down How it all came about … Is a mystery of the mind But in my head was a Shout … Seek! And you will find
