Angels Among Us

There are angels among us,
we see them everywhere;
they share a smile or lend a hand
to show how much they care.

They give a hug, or dry a tear
or pack a lunch, or two.
They run the sweeper, make a bed:
There's angel-work to do!

They lend an ear, they give advice
they kiss away our pain.
Their alias is "MOTHER",
God's special earthly name.

There are angels among us,
they're not so hard to find;
though none of them are perfect,
I'm so glad for mine!

*If your angel is still "among us" please give her a call, a hug, or take her out to dinner tonight...and if there have been issues with your angel, please, please forget about the past and extend a hand of reconciliation to her....

...they really do fly away.
