Truth and Lies


What will it take … To open their eyes
And be awake … To see the lies
The end of it all … Is plain to see
The trumpet will call … The truth will flee


Up in the sky … Where the truth has gone
And now the lie … And it’s all wrong
The man with the plan … To fix it all
With a wave of his hand … But he will fall


Now all that they see … Before he is thru
The lie they believed … Was nothing new
It’s been said that truth hurts … But it sets you free
He said “I AM” is what you see
