SINBURNED

My God Almighty … What have you done
The Awesome Yahweh … You gave us your Son
To lower yourself … From whom you are
From where you dwelt … To fall so far

Because of me … This you have done
To set me free … Of rebel-lion
And who am I … That you should care
Why shouldn’t I die … Of death be scared

You’ve been thrown out … Of our schools
And now we shout … Like as fools
We cannot believe … What is called sin
Simply won’t see … From where to begin

Holy and Righteous … Beyond even time
Yet being so gracious … To pay for our crime
To call us your own … To be as your Son
And not be alone … Where we belong

Soon ‘twill be over … Lessons all learned
When we discover … Our sins have been burned
