Devotionals
I write this piece primarily to teachers, parents and grandparents of young children. Do not think your interaction projects go unnoticed. One activity still brings back warm memories. I made butter. Our teacher gave us glass mason jars of milk with cream and instructed us to shake them. [Educators of today would find that hazardous.]
Hazardous, yes, but my small hands shook that jar of milk until it mysteriously turned to butter. Spreading it upon saltines, I prepared crackers and milk for my snack time. Yum, yum! “For the churning of milk produces butter (Proverbs 30:33a HCS).”
