The Rock Higher than I

Ps 61:2
From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

Our life is full of exams and tests we must sit, write and pass. Whether you like it or not you must take every course, for you will not be given double promotion or skip the test.

Life is a battlefield. Your test is not to impair you but to improve you. That test must produce a testimony.

Satan designs and creates the test or trouble or challenges to overwhelm your heart so that he can therefore derail your focus and straight race with God.

To Overwhelm ...`ataph..hb, meaning ... fail, ...faint, ...feebler, ...overwhelm, ...swoon, your heart is Satan's aim.

Jesus said, let not your heart be troubled ... my peace I give you. In other words, let not your heart be overwhelmed by the challenges.

He is the Rock ...tsuwr..hb, meaning ...refuge, ...strength, to depend upon in our race marked out for us, The Rock higher than you.

The Lord liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted. Ps 18:46

For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. Ps 27:5

He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. Ps 40:2

So ...
Apply yourself to your work as if all depend on you and pray as if all depend on God and drive yourself through looking unto Jesus. Refuse to be overwhelmed.

That Rock ...Jesus, is the Word of God built in you. To sustain, strengthen and anchor you through the storm.

David said ....He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved. Ps 62:2
In your life's race to the mark ...
The storm or challenge or trouble is to strengthen your desire for prayer ...for the word ...the fellowship. It is to prepare you to manage the glory coming or to preserve you

Be aware that ...
He will lead you not into temptation but the Rock ...Jesus, is always there to deliver you from the evil one.

The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. Pro 18:10

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Isa 26:3

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Eph 6:13

Let you mind and focus stay on Jesus and His Word who will keep you in perfect peace.
The Rock higher than you is inside you ...You have the task to do all that is necessary ...to stand.
