Prayers

Heavenly Father,
though we were born in rebellion against You,
thank you that did not leave us as slaves to sin and death.
In love for Your Son Jesus Christ and for us,
You invited Him to consider the joy of an eternal Kingdom
with the Church as His bride.
For that joy, He endured even death on a cross,
and rose again to Your right hand.
Through Him we are born again;
by the indwelling Holy Spirit we are being remade and set apart for Him.
Grant that according to your unbreakable Scriptures
we may be united with each other,
even as You and the Son are united in the fellowship of the Holy Spirit,
One God, Three Persons,
forever blessing and forever blessed. Amen.
