I see you standing there
I want to run to you
To tell you to stop
I want to scream it's not too late
Wait Kate, please. Just Wait

I see the demons you're fighting inside
But there's more to you than this

You were made in his image
Created in his likeness
Stop slitting your wrists

I want to hold your hands
To wipe away your tears
To force you to set down that gun
Can't you see that you were saved
For you he sent his only son

I want to tell you this
But you are too far gone
It's too late for me to save you
And now I'm just trying to move on

I just wish I could've told you
How much you were loved by God

What would you have done
If I had been there to tell you
there was more to this life

You went through the days
Pretending everything was fine
And then that night you were popping pills accompanied with wine

I want to make you set down the bottle
To tell you that there is hope for tomorrow
You are more than this depression
There are answers to your questions
There's a God that is listening
Now I just wish your heart
Could have kept beating

I wish you would have listened
Tony, there was so much more to your story
Your depression was an illness
A disease to which you lost
If only i had had a chance to tell you
That you were loved by God

Your mother she found you hanging
Tears streamed and she started screaming
I held her as she cried
Over and over I apologized

If only I had picked up the phone
I would have told you, you were more than your circumstance
I would have pleaded for you to stay

You were smart and kind and true
In this life you had a chance
There was a testimony in you
Lives you could have changed
But your life got the best of you
and now I'll never be the same

I wish you would have listened Megan
When weeks before I told you,  you were not foresaken
Maybe I just should have told you
How much you were loved by God

When we met you were already struggling
For years you had been cutting
You questioned your self worth
You suffered alone when you hurt

I tried to tell you I was here
That you could open up to me
But you did not listen

You cut a little too deep
Drifted into an endless sleep
So now all I do is miss you Mu
There will never be another quite like you
You loved so fiercely
Lived so passionately

But in your sadness you lost yourself
I guess I couldn't answer your cry for help
But I know it wasn't me you needed to ask

That's when I should've told you
How much you were loved by God
And it was he who had the answers
Never me

You had a problem with self-esteem
The kids, they used words that hurt so much
Your life lost all meaning

You felt so alone
Like the whole world was against you
I was here pleading
Begging you to stay
All I wanted was for you to be happy
You never listened to me Maddi

All the words you let get to you
You heard what cut like daggers
And disregarded the little comforts

In your faith, you staggered
I tried to make you hear me
To make you feel my love
When really all you needed
Was to be reminded how much you were loved by god

In all these deaths I have learned
It is not my voice that needs to be heard

I tried to save them all
I should've known without God
They would fall

There are those who are hurting
Those who are broken

We have to understand
That we alone, can save no one
We need God's hand

They need God's love
I wish I could do it over again

To replace my words with his

But now i can only look forward
And save them by showing them God
And his love which has no boarders
I dream of a world where suicide does not exist
Not a single scar on any wrist

And with my hands clasped in prayer
I believe that the broken will be repaired
