1.Life
Life seems just pleasant to the eyes of self.
But what's a speck upon the books on shelf?
Our years may glimmer as the sands on shore
At noon; but during eve, they spark no more.
The world did print its musing promises
On papers signed by the authorities--
Deluge did risk their times for these pursuits
And motivate their flowers to gain fruits.
We'd look at life by the eternal eyes,
To see it through the spectacles of wise.
2.Afternow's Tomorrow
Each minute is a tooth
Of histry's mouth of youth,
Been talking while it chews
Pineapple chunks of news--
A year could no more swallow
Its weeks and months of sorrow.
The next day's licking tongue
Has future's sharper fang;
'Twill bite and suck the blood
Of all the sons of God.
But say, What if Death kills you
Day after now's tomorrow?
3.Heart Can't Manufacture Love
Your heart can't manufacture Love;
It's not a product factory.
The raw materials from above
Is 'yond the flesh's machinery.
Such elements can be produced
By mixing various chemicals;
But you could never interfused
The bogus to originals.
It might portray like C P U,
For feelings it was processing;
The muscle vacuum weren't you--
But soul that's manufacturing.
4.Perfect Posture of Humility
Such Politics makes humble impostor
That seems another holy candidate;
A public servant, mostly of the poor.
Quite optimistic to congratulate,
As if to celebrate projected loss.
The common people couldn't read DECEIT
Through language of a serpent's smile, because
Of humor, sliver-coated with li'l wit.
The perfect posture of humility's
When a soul will bow down by its two knees.
5.A Christian Woman's Love
How can a Christian woman love her man
Unlike the simple person's worldly love,
If she don't love the Lord beyond more than
The things below instead of Him above?
How can she cling for better, even worse,
Unlike the couple's shallow marriage's oath,
That ended up in death, or in divorce,
If she's unfaithful to Who bound them both?
Be wise as cow that knows what herbs to eat,
Unlike a mouse been trapped just for a cheese!
Be sure what kind of hook you'll have to bait
However comely is the pretty fish.
A Christian woman cannot love more than
Mere love if she won't love God than her man.
6.Love
Love is an atom--
A particle of light.
With mass and volume
That can't be grasped of sight.
This Bomb's explosion
Could wipe out continent--
Melt mind's whole nation,
And will's, to some extent.
Heart is a vacuum
Of tiny molecules--
Forever quantum
Of Love's light particles.
7.Speech Therapy
Yes, speak softly, answer gently,
To the ears of troubled soul.
Tender words are little holy
Guardian Angels of us all.
Speaking (out of conscious) harshly
Could severe soul's aching tooth;
Saying rhythmic words quite smoothly--
They're the drugs for health that soothe...
Soothing through the joints and marrows--
Where the flesh and soul have felt
Carnal pain, in tangent sorrows--
Where self's sicknesses have dwelt.
8.Gumamela Universe
This cosmos is a bloom-
ing Gumamela flower;
Its energy's assum-
ing scent of musing power.
The pollengrains were pla-
nets, 'round the sun revolving.
Each petal is a Ga-
laxy, too vast astounding.
Love was this flower's nec-
tar to God who's ever hungry.
A human intellec-
tual sense can't grasp a Calv'ry.
He picked this flower up
Since from Earth's fine creation.
Its mercy interrup-
ting, we fall down in motion.
9.Lens Fantasies
What force compressed them on this frame,
And with what heat of burning flame?
The candlelight is blown out now,
But does the fire burn somehow.
It's love that gathered them all here
Upon this moment of that year;
But it must learn of letting go
As an embrace of lovers do.
They must put down that heavy thing,
If only sorrow it can bring,
And fix themselves within the lens
Though quite apart each other's range.
10.Risk
Don't be afraid to take a risk;
You're taking it in every way.
Each day's routine is risky task--
Yes, even words which what you say.
It greets you always as you wake,
In every moment after sleep;
Who knows your spinal chord will break
As you arise to take a step?
There have been many risks outside,
While it's less risky in the room;
It's risk to walk, much more to ride,
So rather take the risk at home.
You're taking risk just when you nap.
The sense of your half-consciousness
Can't guarantee to wake you up.
Do not expect, "Life's riskyless!"
11.The Broken Tooth of a Smiling Bridge
This was the broken tooth
Of a curve smiling bridge.
That moment's very youth,
Yet seemed the ages' edge.
I'm somewhere in between,
To nowhere coming back.
I blinked the eyed-machine
To mark this swaying track.
I captured heaven's mind,
The river's beating heart;
Emotions intertwined
As I became their part.
12.Root of Law
Opinion was the root of law.
For while a theory was yet raw,
It's such the stem that links between
The root and flower in the brain.
But we can sense it from the start
Before it grows up in the heart.
13.1st Law of Thermodynamics
Such love did not exist,
Because it's no beginning;
And if you would insist,
Then prove that it has ending.
There is no energy
Or matter being made
As new. On seventh day
Were done what's being said.
Interconverting this
And that's mere formula.
Just look in Genesis
For these phenomena.
14.2nd Law of Thermodynamics
Life was a full-charged battery
Of such as mobile phone;
And draining it is misery,
Or else it's good for none.
Thermodynamics's Second Law
Approved that systems run
From high intensity to low,
Like light degrees of sun
From noon until its setting down.
This was the reason why
We were taught by king Solomon
To blaze before we'll die.
15.Clock Fingers Interlock
We're shrinking into that tomorrow
Of Black hole with no more return;
The selfish Night won't let us borrow
A ray of such translucent morn.
We're going somewhere, without knowing
Time travel has no boundary;
We'll just keep on forever rowing
Throughout the deep eternity:
Until the Time would interlock
The tireless fingers of the clock.
16.Traces
I know this place at heart;
It was glad of my coming.
And since I did depart,
Too little had been changing.
These flowers know me, too,
When I am disapponted;
I shon't display my brow
As if I'm broken hearted.
I'll hide behind this face
The yet unmended heartache
Of previous trifling days
By such a smile too plastic.
I know the honest dog
Will notice my disguises;
Each time I kissed my mug,
I'm following the traces.
17.Among These Things Which Am I?
Among these books, which am I, self?
Am I the thin or fat one there
In that row of poetry's shelf?
I hope I'm not the prosy here.
I daily speak in plain by prose,
And that made talking superfluous.
Among these stars, which are you, soul?
A Supernova that explodes?
Or Neutron star that left a hole
Called Black, just after it implodes?
You're neither matter nor a force,
Yet occupies and has a source.
18.Your Smile is Flower in Disguise
Your smile is flower in disguise,
Too shy in blooming;
And my eyes were two butterflies
On it were stooping.
Its roots were clinging in the stone,
Which were the raw nerves
Of your soft heart; but still a bone--
Much woman in curves.
And though detached upon the Earth,
You have been nourished,
By very nutrients of mirth--
In fullness flourished.
Upon the ground, your happy feet
Were prone to laughing;
Those leafy palms, too swift to greet,
Were true in clapping.
19.The Tyger
Tiger! Tiger! eating mouse
In the corners of the house!
What a carnal paws and eyes
Tremble all the stupid mice?
Lo! How murderer thou art,
Since I have you from the start!
When you will demand to eat,
You don't like bones but fresh meat.
How ambitious pussycat!
You must better find a rat.
How thick was your brainless face,
And how thief that robber's gaze?
What a metal is thy head?
What a heck thy brain was made?
Shall I laugh if I caught thee
Eating all my food today?
20.Your love is the silence
Your love is the silence
of a couple after an argument,
and the silence of a child
after breastfeeding.
21.If you leave me
Only the sweet fruit will fall
From its twig when love is ripen;
But the seed of what's been rotten
Sprouts a new heart after all.
If you leave me, I won't die
Like a candle in the darkness;
For this thick black night of sadness
Can be healed by means of sigh.
22.Neutrino
The sleeping cat upon this bench,
Where I'm now sitting,
Could never quench the motion hence
Of this world turning.
I am just writing through this pen,
Mind only gazing,
Upon those tings I haven't seen,
But still I'm moving....
I'm moving fast, like speed of light,
Where I'm now sitting;
The objects might appear in sight
As if not moving.
Neutrino was the world in space,
That's ever twirling...
What caused me run to blaze,
Such devastating?
23.The DUM duh DUM
To speak in rhymes, we'd prefer
Than talking straight in prose;
With strict cadence of meter,
Not the in tangled loose.
It takes a time to think before
We could have speak far better more.
We can reduce our anger
In speaking through a poem;
Instead of counting number,
Let's talk by only hum.
How few hearts only we can break,
If through the DUM duh DUM we speak.
The people will be sober,
More careful with their tongues,
Less hasty when they'll answer--
Will murmur in the lungs,
What poets blow like bubblegum
That spellbound some, the DUM duh DUM.
24.Graves
Sweet are the blood
of all the wicked men,
avenged by God
for those all righteous slain:
sharp were the teeth
of hungry serpent Death.
We are not made
to be the Serpent's meat;
but have just paid
what we don't want to eat.
The order comes,
as hearts beat fast the drums.
25.Gravity
Heart is the sun,
And love is radiance;
Mind is the moon
With shadow reasons.
Hence I get fire
To burn desire.
Your eyes were stars
Designed to twinkle;
And lips, the altars
Of burning candle.
Thence I get light
To spark the night.
Such gravity--
Your touch I'm longing;
Infinity
And everlasting:
For if I move,
I fall in love.
26.Scientific Art of Leadership
The art of leadership
Ain't science of hammership;
Our members will submit
If we were apt to it.
Submission's also art,
If members were quite smart;
When murmurings are less,
More chances of success.
It's human to complain,
Divine if they'll remain
In silence, which is science
Among art's basic kinds.
27.A Sermon to sermons
Jesus in his parables
overused not preambles;
when he preached His messages,
they were not too long but KISS.
Keep It Short but so far Straight--
simple, elegant, and neat.
Thrifty man in words is wise;
he won't over prettyfize.
If your target is the Eye
of the Dart Board, (my, oh my!)
why throw arrows, long and curve,
from a distance that could swerve?
Preachers must be minimal
using pronouns (personal);
less adverbs and adjectives--
more in verbs, the Noun believes.
28.Shave Your Heart A Thousand Rhymes
Come live with me and be my love,
Yet we still some fake pleasures prove,
Why lastest option is divorce
When things go wrong and debts get worse.
If you don't want our future seeds
Just watch rich parents feed their kids
Upon some decent restaurant,
Then, help me water ginger plants.
And if such hunger twist your mind,
I'd take a rope, for I will bind,
Your skinny hands and bonnie feet,
As I will let you watch me eat.
I'd let you sleep upon a bed
With pillow harder than your head;
You could expect a bed of rose
With nails, if not thorns, when you chose!
So if you'll come to be my love,
You should not make haste on that move;
Much better think a zillion times
And shave your heart a thousand rhymes.
29.Poetic Fever
I'm struck with lightning yesternight,
with compact sound yet nothing light;
its message was a thunderbolt,
an empathetic blast assault.
I'm toppling down before I found,
myself was grappling on the ground;
I'm shot before the trigger's pulled--
I heard the message ere I'm told.
And now it's morn I still could feel
the aftershock's ecstatic thrill.
The poetic jest struck me again,
it's resonating in my brain.
30.Debt: a monster
I've trampled under feet
the monster's head;
and now I'll try to beat,
while almost dead,
its deadly tail that stings
each time I spend
my money into things
vain at the end.
That monster tramples down
some of my friends--
and loved ones, too, he's drown:
to lender bends...
and when they have the cash
upon their palms
they burn the bill for ash
then beg for alms.
31.Nobody taught us how to smile...
Nobody taught a child to smile,
None ever tutored him to cry;
And now I--not a little while--
Could learn an honest laugh and sigh.
A young man neither class 'bout love
Nor studied breaking his own heart;
So maybe I can only prove:
"Nobody taught us from the start."
Nobody taught us how to breathe
Nor we have lessons how to die;
But we've a subject called as Death
With which the end of class draws nigh.
32.Merry heart has happy face
Merry heart has happy face,
Broken spirit had but frown;
For the ugliness of days
Can be seen by sorrow shown.
Smile is an expensive dress
That proclaims a happy one;
Meeting brows were such a mess
Of a wrinkled soul of man.
Beauty lies in merry cheeks,
Gladness glows in happy eyes;
But just like a tooth that aches--
Lips that smiles in mere disguise.
Happy man has merry heart,
Broken spirit had but frown;
Bogus smile is something smart,
Yet seems pure when shall be shown.
33.When darkness veils the pretty days
The color of a woman's skin,
The fairness of a maiden's face,
Literally cannot be seen
When darkness veils the pretty days.
The glimmers of seductive eyes,
The perfect shapes of coral lips,
Are equal to the moon in skies
When darkness veils in an eclipse.
A woman's beauty, like the night,
Is just a shadow of her soul;
For when off is the candid light,
The darkness veils her over all.
34.6th villanelle
The morning dews on petals were, for me,
Photography and Poetry combined,
which breathing souls with sense could smell and see
unmoving pictures of videography,
with hues quite natural, fresh scents entwined.
The morning dews on petals were, for me,
a vaporating smoke in cups of tea,
that's penetrating marrows of my mind,
which breathing souls with sense could smell and see.
A rose in motion growing oe'r the lea
that speaks in complete deafness of the blind.
The morning dews on petals were, for me,
the calm, too silent, leaves upon a tree,
that after being stirred seemed to unwind,
which breathing souls with sense could smell and see.
The fine Photography and Poetry
that shows unveiled transparency behind
the morning dews on petals were, for me--
which breathing souls with sense could smell and see.
35.5th villanelle
Love is an itch within the patient's heart--
with remedy, but only scratching more
the sensitive and most affected part.
It's best to never scratch this from the start;
Prevention still is better than its cure;
Love is an itch within the patient's heart.
Falls into Science instead on field of Art
if we would have to study its sole core--
the sensitive and most affected part.
It's nice to be artistic, but be smart
in dealing with this allergy. For sure,
Love is an itch within the patient's heart,
an athletes foot that tickles more than hurt
the bare feet shoes of any victim, or
the sensitive and most affected part.
So neither entertain this fungus nor
scratch more to cure the core. For sure, a sore
Love is an itch within the patient's heart--
the sensitive and most affected part.
36.It is your dream that energizes you - 4th villanelle
It is your dream that energizes you
to work and earn, but spend so sparingly.
The same shall beat you down, that you don't know
if it don't suffer you to sleep, although
you seems so tired. When thinking constantly,
it is your dream that energizes you.
Phantasma is a dream of dreamers, too,
as lightning thunderstruck Novemberly--
the same shall beat you down, that you don't know
how hard to quench the torrent of its flow
that badly's dragging you, continuously.
It is your dream that energizes you--
the heavy eye bag now hung 'neath your brow
looks down the silent hall, unconsciously,
the same shall beat you down, that you don't know
now, as you harness pow'r of dream, let go
those ones which torture you mercilessly.
It is your dream that energizes you--
the same shall beat you down, that you don't know.
37.Heart without love
It is better for me here to live without heart
Than to have without love. So I may cannot feel
Emptiness everytime when we dear fall apart;
And will not long to know, in this life love is real.
38.My Good Neighbors
When my good neighbors' quarrel was turned on
Like a Beethoven's symphony each night,
Insomnia found occasion 'till 'twas dawn.
They sang same songs in full blast unison--
I doubt if did my two ears serve me right
When my good neighbors' quarrel was turned on.
39.Loving is investing
Who thinks that him who gives love will invest
In business that goes down to bankruptcy?
Who does confuse it as commercial jest,
Exchanged by two to earn such interest
That boosts when managed in wise constancy?
There is no possible deficiency
If you will share a capital. So best
Invest your love without hesitancy.
40.Not all alone is lonely
Not all alone is lonely,
Not all enjoined attached;
The moon ain't one and only--
Some linked yet been detached
Apart from crowded mainstreams
Of solitary flight;
Some would portray their day dreams
When absent was the light.
Not all attached connected,
Not all alone dispatched
Apart from halls a-crowded--
Some fragile to be touched.
41.Anger is a carrot
The offender is a Planter
Of a seedling called as Anger;
Pluck it off, not only cut it,
From the root, oh Silly Rabbit!
Underground, its fruit's like carrot--
Leaves are not the basis but root;
Plastic smile's like plastic green leaf--
Deep inside grows healthy fat grief.
Heart ain't field where you should plant it,
Cultivate not such a habbit;
Kill with hunger your offender
By not keeping seeds of Anger.
42.The shuffle of your smile
Continuously your smile
Plays like a music file--
No buttons or menu
To click and pause it though
Than when you speak, perhaps--
It suddenly then stops:
Each word might be a note
That on the air does float.
43.Two people in love have one soul in two bodies
Two halves in one lace both you were to me--
My joy I in your happy faces see;
Soon both the two of you're becoming one,
Like two fresh morning dews merged by the Son,
Been striding down the spine of leaves of trees:
My hope I'd breath with April's tender breeze,
Before the night unfolds to let day gone
Like a love story that ceased to be done,
Due is the happiness to be possessed
By both of you--go build a lovebirds' nest,
Where love is guild against the subtle storm,
That shall occur in unimagined form:
Two halves in one have one soul in two fleshes,
Twain hearts bait one love as two happy fishes.
44.The second wound claims the bitterest pain
A friend of mine said unto me,
"My first cut is the deepest."
But I did halfly disagree,
"The second claims the bitt'rest."
Of course, somebody's moving on,
If that one still was breathing;
Except he ceases to be gone,
He surely has been dying.
Create a fresh wound in your heart,
Not on where once been wounded;
Succeeding pain is what most hurt,
In such an area now been aided.
45.Poet's Chamber
Poetry's a little hole
To the Poet's chamber soul;
Reader's an ambitious guest
Getting inside of his chest
To inquire and scrutinize,
By their magnifier eyes,
Of which leads to outer door,
Crossing through the squeaking floor
That if readers wouldn't watch,
Surely what a dainty catch!
They'll be mice been trapped inside--
On this cage they might have died.
Poetry's a little hole
To the Poet's chamber soul;
Get inside ambitious guest
To the Poet's kiosk of rest.
46.My heart is the red carpet, embroidered with love
I'd spread my heart, oh Dove,
Like a red carpet on your way;
Embroidered with my love--
But why, my Dove, you flew away?
You run so swiftly, dear--
Instead of treading tenderly--
Unto the altar where
My best friend waits to marry thee.
So now my heart unfolds
Like a black carpet in the night:
I'm treading the threshold's
Bleak surface, without you my light.
47.Before the trigger was pulled
Careless woman, you've been shot
E'en before the trigger's pulled;
Tho' to me you told it not,
You've been found as dead and cold.
Words are bullets of the heart,
Quiteness with--depends on mode.
Inside wounds are what most hurt--
Love in silent shall explode.
48.First on swing
"Don't teach me young man!" When he's told.
"You still are going forth--I'm back!
You're yet too young to be too old,
To lead me through back on the track:
I'm first of you upon the swing--
I know 'bout almost everything."
"Your yellow leaves are getting bald--
I cannot bend your trunk--they'll crack;
You're now too hard to be too mild;
The soon abandoned rustic shack:
And, yes, you were the first on swing...
You were the Fall, I am the Spring."
49.Rhymer's Rhymes
The Rhymer's rhymes are called, Too old,
And were so used, and trampled down.
But aren't stained--refined as gold--
When they are tried, the more they shone.
They weren't out like music tones;
They're still the notes of ancient times,
Which echoes soothing through my bones,
Played by melodious poet's rhymes.
Free verses were superior, too.
They blew with swift velocities!
Of course, the winds are never new--
They're born last infant centuries.
But I just loved the Rhymer's rhyme,
As listener to such a song--
With scheme and meter all the time--
That we can hum on all along.
50.Village Lilies
My love will kill your hatred in the field
Where village lilies were our hearts; and shall
Devour your pride mercilessly. Ain't shield
With second thoughts, yet ever dressed withal.
51.Why Never Now?
How sure are we my friend,
That this love's seedling grows
Tomorrow, when we tend
To hide it as it glows
Today upon our hearts--
When do forever starts?
A little while is well--
With pinch of doubt is not.
I know young Noricel
That now I need you, but
I'll move a farther hence
To be with you on thence.
I am unsure my friend,
As no somebody knows,
How true love stories end
Aside from T V shows:
But why start never now?
We'll ask ourselves somehow.
52.The Preface Past
We've been together now my friend...
Not that our story has to end:
For we can take a higher step,
If both through faith we're going to leap.
The past is preface of our book,
While future is content to look;
It matters not how we'd begin,
As long as we've desires to win.
I wasn't brought out anywhere,
Because I'm carried where you were;
We'll walk this way that leads to joy
Whatever thistles will annoy.
But though our paths have never met,
What mystery meant--we can't get;
Why music stirs somebody's heart?
How linguists built the language's art?
53.Poet Photographer
The poet's camera is pen.
His poems are stolen snapshots
Of pictures that we haven't seen,
Made by words, used as mere dots.
He'll capture feelings on the spot,
Shoot memoirs from his window;
Keeps photo-journals--some could not
Define in crystalline view.
Photographers took present pics,
While poets past and future;
Though paparazzo’s hundred clicks
Are yet one poet's picture.
So if you want to take a pic
From past or future scenes,
You'd hire a poet, not the geek
Of lenses, in the sense.
54.A Thread To Friendship
The bridge to friendship is not short;
Though walls are thick and tall:
Across the oceans to the port
Of each one's heart and soul.
The space and time--they matter not--
Nor place, nor state of mind:
This thread connects no matter what
Excuses we can find.
Look at the rainbow's arch up high,
When it does bend as bridge,
How private Islands were drawn nigh
By each transparent edge.
Such friendship ain't material thing,
But substance we can see;
A two-lane bridge, yet just a string,
Attached to you and me.
55.Step by step
Don't let your mind to take a higher step
Beyond your feet can reach;
And don't allow your brainless heart to leap
Down shallow rivulets:
For taking steps beyond we can
Will throw us down our trodden plan.
There is no shortcut way up lofty stairs,
If you would have to soar
Above the heights of your vain failure years,
Below the present floor:
It's hard to go down from the top,
If you don't know how you went up.
