Little Mary

As she wakes in the morning, she comes to the Lord in Prayer
Her vest for life is one we all can share.
Loved by her children and grandchildren she holds dear.
As she would play with them and hold them close,
Singing songs and telling stories of Jesus who she loves the most.

She opens her door and heart to all you enters in.
With delight in her eyes she welcomes them.
A mother and grandmother that we all hold dear.
She will listen whole-heartedly and her kind words are always near.
Be careful Little Mary gives advice and good cheer.
She will carry your burdens to God in prayer.

The aroma of apple turnovers will put smiles on your face.
As years go by she tells stories of God’s amazing grace.
Yet there is joy in knowing she is with Jesus above.
Her life was consumed of his everlasting love.
Someday we will all rejoice and embrace her once again.
Yet, my heart leaps for joy knowing Jesus is coming again.
On that joyous day when I see Grandma face to face,
I want her to hear me say, “Thank you Grandma for sharing Gods amazing grace.”
