Every individual has his own problem(s). So, never have the wrong notion that others are problem -free. Abscence of a conference to discuss seriousness, size or magnitude of people's problems prevents us from knowing the fellow having the largest share.

Beloved reader, how 'big' is your problem? There is that tendency for you to think or feel yours seem to be the most to celebrate. However, comparing yours with those around you will convince you that you are not the most hit.

That is not where am going.

Comparing your 'size' with that of your problem, you may appear like a dwarf while it is the giant. Your strength may appear as nothing compared with that of your opponent.

It is possible that it has defied past effort to solve it, be convinced that: it will fall flat before you and will walk over it.

Read this story from the Holy Bible in 1 Samuel 17 and you will know and understand that you will overcome.

"4 Then Goliath, a Philistine champion from Gath, came out of the Philistine ranks to face the forces of Israel.
He was over nine feet tall.
5 He wore a bronze helmet, and his bronze coat of mail weighed 125 pounds.
6 He also wore bronze leg armor, and he carried a bronze javeline on his shoulder.
7 The shaft of his spear was as heavy and thick as a weaver's beam, tipped with an iron spearhead that weighed 15 pounds. His armor bearer walked ahead of him carrying a shield."

This man was an "oversize" problem which confronted the nation of Israel during king Saul's reign. His might melted the hearts of people, his words also petrified them.

Suddenly, an unknown "champion" in Israel, David, appeared for them and declared:
"32 Dont worry about this Philistine, I'll go fight him.
34 I have been taking care of my father's sheep and goats," he said.
" When a lion or a bear comes to steal a lamb from the flock?
35 I go after it with a club and rescue the lamb from its mouth.
If the animal turns on me, I catch it by the jaw and club it to death.
36 I have done this to both lions and bears, and I'll do it to this pagan Philistine, too, for he has defied the armies of the living God.
37 The Lord who rescued me from the claws of the lion and the bear will rescue me from this Philistine!"

What was the outcome?

David overcame Goliath and people of Israel and Judah celebrated the victory.

If this had happened:
1. Remember and rely on the past testimonies of God's goodness to you.
2. You can also rely, to strengthen your faith, on the testimonies of others around you.
3. You can do the same by believing and acting on the goodness and faithfulness of God you read in devotionals or any other good and godly works; else, ignite the fire of your faith by the record of "the championship Contest" between Goliath and David as contained in first Samuel chapter seventeen.

The Lord that gave victory to His people through David is bigger than your problem. Only draw near to Him. Trust Him totally; confront your problem in the strength of God, whatever its size, it will crumble before you!
