Once upon a time a little girl swirled and twirled in circles and bowed low only to spring up and and dance some more. Around and around she went in her minds eye she seen herself in a white dress, silky, soft skirt swirled around her ankles. She seen golden bouncy curls framing her perfectly oval face. And oh, she so fondly envisioned, Dimples! Two sweet dimples would be the crowning glory to her radiant smile. She danced, she tripped and fell. Picking herself up she caught her reflection in a mirror and at once her beautiful world came crashing round her. Staring back at at her was a little girl yes, but there was no white dress. In it's place was a dirty denim jumper with a pink blouse smudged with chocolate. The skirt was of a sensible kind that did not swirl about her ankles, but instead hung strait down to her knees. Her hair, oh her hair! a lone tear made it's way down her cheek. Not the bouncy golden curls but instead just two brown pig tails in need of a brush. And oh the dimples set so sweetly in each cheek had some how vanished, like the day dream they where. Tears streaming down her face now, she crumpled into a little heap. Her dream was gone! Slowly though, her tears dried, she picked herself up on wobbly feet. A determined looked came into her eyes. She would go on anyway! despite the plain little dress, unkempt, dull hair even without her beloved dimples. She had a dream and some day she would become that lovely princess. She slowly started to twirl and swirl in circles, bow low and spring up again.....over and over again she danced and some times she fell. But she always got up and started to swirl and twirl.....because she had a dream!
