You wonder which is worthwhile
As many sit idle, as if they were sedated
Is it good to consume, is it really our style

Nothing wrong with creativity
Exploration to new ends
Just don’t lose touch of reality
By being caught in a world of pretend

We see so often these days
People glued to technology
Losing sight of their pathway
Distracted by this new sociology

Remember to focus on humanity
So that our unique nature doesn’t cease
We want to improve to end the calamity
Which is difficult to do if our attention doesn’t increase
