2 Kings 6:
17 And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.
18 And when they came down to him, Elisha prayed unto the LORD, and said, Smite this people, I pray thee, with blindness. And he smote them with blindness according to the word of Elisha.
19 And Elisha said unto them, This is not the way, neither is this the city: follow me, and I will bring you to the man whom ye seek. But he led them to Samaria.

Discernment is very important in the life of the BORN AGAIN CHRISTIAN
There are LEGIONS of MASQUERADING spirits all around us, many that we daily and per second interact with but they are not actually manifesting their own spirit ‘men’ but other crafty and wicked spirits have taken temporary or permanent residents of their physical faculties.

Jesus knew this immediately when he rebuked Peter:
Matthew 16:23- “But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get you behind me, Satan: you are an offense unto me: for you consider not the things that be of God, but those that be of men”.

Spiritual discernment will elevate from ORDINARY TO EXTRA-ORDINARY, the Christian who intends to live a FULL and VICTORIOUS life as sheep among wolves and as a resident in a world where JESUS CHRIST himself said, “you are in this world but you are not of this world”.

This discernment is needed in all spheres of life; in relationships, at work, at home, on the streets, in business interactions and ALL interactions of sorts; seeing immediately through the daily cunningness and raw evil that we have to come in contact with.
This will help in MAKING THE RIGHT CHOICES, ALWAYS! … ‘Open the EYES OF MY HEART LORD that I may see mysteries, great mysteries with the eye of the spiritual…God makes his ministers a flaming fire and reveals mysteries to them’
