A Christian is like a lighthouse set up by God in the world. He is called to faithfully keep the light of the Gospel shining so that sinners can see the way back to God and avoid the perilous rocks
that lead to damnation.

Just as a lighthouse is easy to find and locate, so must we make the Gospel, the way of salvation, easy to access. A constant and steady beam of Gospel light must be kept shining on this spiritually dark world. Every opportunity to spread it must be used.

"Keep the light shining!" is the motto of every single evangelical Christian.

Christian, whenever you see a lighthouse, remember that that's a perfect representation of who and what you are, as far as your relationship to the world is concerned.

What a literal lighthouse is to the dark and dim sea is who and what you are to this spiritually dark and dreary world.

Are you faithfully shining the light regularly? Or are you only spasmodically shining it occasionally?
