let not the waves of trouble get you down
The Lord will not let you go under
for he is the man, that is always around

Through the darkest hours he can be found
the smallest knock, the Lord can hear
You can ring him up, anytime of the day
the man's presence is always near

With outreached hands he beckons
to give his strength so you can bear
Everything that you are going through
and yes, he really does care

He said, that we could count on him
all we need to do is call his name
And never ever doubt that he heard you
for his word has made this plain

This man had went beyond the limits
he went to bat, for me and you
So whatever the need all base's were covered
making it possible, don't you dee

Now the Lord's will is that you be happy
that's why he died for me and you
His love was challenged on the cross
it's finish, what more can he do
