Prophecy

It began with a whisper, “If you eat from this tree, you will not die. You will be like God.”

The whisper in the Garden of Eden revealed the agenda of the deceiver, the leader of the angels cast out of heaven. He offered humans the ability to achieve immortality and a higher level of consciousness. (Genesis 3:1-7) The irony was that the humans already had immortality and a higher level of consciousness. They communicated directly with God. They lost both by believing in a lie. The story was familiar with anybody who attended church and Sunday school or read the Bible.

The story continued up to and including the time of the flood. People totally turned from God and were following the “sons of god” to the point of intermarrying and having offspring with fallen angels. (Genesis 6:4) God wiped out all of mankind except Noah and his family. Some Bible scholars argue that one of Noah’s daughters-in-law might have been impregnated with the seed of the nephilim as they were mentioned after the flood. (Numbers 13:33)

After the flood the agenda of the deceiver was further revealed. Nimrod led the people to build the Tower of Babel. They were not building a tower to physically climb into heaven. They were constructing a portal to channel their spirits and return to heaven. They were also constructing a monument to ‘make a name for themselves’ that would be remembered. Some Bible scholars have theorized that genetic experimentation was being conducted to cause a superhuman race and interbreeding between man and animals, thus the source of mythology. Whether or not that was the extent of their objectives and activities, God determined they would succeed if they had a common language. (Genesis 11: 1-11)

Nimrod was also openly rebellious against God and determined to wipeout any remnants of true faith in Jehovah. (Genesis 10:9) He became the first fascist seeking a one world government. Scattering the people and confusing their language did not eliminate Nimrod’s agenda. Since the language was confused, the tradition had to be continued in an esoteric fashion, even to this day. Jesus said, “For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah.” (Matthew 24:37)

How did the seed of rebellion and the desire for the super race continue through history? Jim Marrs offered an answer in The Rise of the Fourth Reich. He said of the Biblical Ham, “He was the essential founder of esoteric and arcane ‘underground stream’ which flowed through the ages…This table of knowledge was passed from Egypt and Mesopotamia to Greek and Roman masters, such as Homer, Virgil, Pythagoras, Plato, and the Rosicrucians (sic) and Knights Templar and on to the Stuart Royal Family in England.” (page 95)

There are several other theories and potential avenues for “channeling” the hidden agenda forward. Avenues include: obsession with Theosophy, New Age Religion and the Paranormal; black magic; mysticism; Satan worship; astrology; glorifying sorcerers in entertainment and literature; and, the church embracing Chrislam. The list goes on. The point is the deceiver and whisperer from the Garden would like to get mankind to focus away from the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

As a fallen angel, Nimrod knew something about God we have not comprehended. Bible prophecy included several accounts of angels being transported to and from heaven. As mentioned earlier, was Nimrod attempting to find a portal to allow fallen angels to re-access heaven?

In Biblical history, Jacob was traveling from Beersheba to Bethel. He stopped for the night and laid his head on a stone. He had a dream in which he saw a ladder reaching to heaven and the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. He heard the Lord say, ‘I am the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac.’ Jacob built a stone memorial to God, not to himself.

In another account, an angel of the Lord prophesied to Samson’s parents. They were told they would be able to have a son after years of infertility. They were also told he would begin to deliver Israel from the hands of the Philistines. (Judges 13: 1-5) His parents sacrificed an offering to the Lord. The messenger was taken up to heaven in the smoke of their offering. “And when the flame went up toward heaven from the altar, the angel of the Lord went up in the flame of the altar.” Judges 13: 20)

Jesus prophesied to Nathanial. When Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him, He declared Nathanael had no guile. Nathanael asked how Jesus knew him. Jesus said He saw him under a tree, before Phillip called him. Then Jesus said, “Because I saw you under the fig tree, do you believe? You will see greater things than these. I tell this, truly, truly, you will see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.” (John 1:47-51)

Prophecy from Babel is directed toward the esoteric, mind and spirit manipulation, the supernatural, man becoming god, and experiencing increased consciousness. It is a remnant of sun worship and symbolized with the Asherah pole and other idols and symbols. Some proclaim to receive inspiration from the dark side, whether they call it that or not – demons, messengers, etc. Hitler and other fascist tyrants have claimed to be guided by demons and Luciferian sources. Hitler also oversaw eugenics and genetic experimentation. He desired to create "...Ubermensch (a deified superman) based on the mystical forms of the Theosophical ‘religion.'" (S. Douglas Woodward, Power Quest, Book II, pg. 12)

Examples of prophecy that are not so clear-cut include Prophet’s (also named "Open Door" of Tippecanoe and Tyler, too fame) predictions regarding President Harrison. He predicted a total solar eclipse fifty days before it happened and Harrison’s short presidency due to untimely death. Was Prophet a Christian? Were his predictions from God or the underworld? They came true. Only God knew the motives of Prophet and the source of his prophecies. It was a fine line and required spiritual discernment.

Historically, prophecy from God agrees with scripture, is for the repentance of a nation, and the edification of mankind. Biblical prophecy directs the hearer toward Jesus, not toward the prophet. John the Baptist said, “I baptize you with water, but He who is mightier than I is coming, the strap of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.” (Luke 3:16)

Pastor William Seymour was a leader of the Azusa Street Mission from around 1905 – 1920. He wrote and published a newsletter describing the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and the Azusa Street Revival. In one of his newsletters, A.W. Orwig offered an account of his visits to Azusa Street. He wrote of an incident which was relayed to him by a young reporter. He said the reporter had been assigned to visit a meeting and write an unfavorable article about the Mission. The reporter was of foreign birth and spoke his native language and English very fluently. During the service, a lady sitting next to him turned and spoke in his native language. She spoke of his rebellious heart and directly about his sinful life.

Afterward, he asked her if she knew the language she spoke. She said she did not. He asked if she knew what she said. She said she did not. He went forward, repented and became a Christian. When he told his editor he could not write a derogatory story about Seymour and the Azusa Street Mission, he was told his services would no longer be needed.”

Joel says of the end times, “I will pour out my spirit on all flesh; your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams and your young men shall see visions.” (Joel 2:28) Have we ever been closer to the end times than we are now?

It is interesting that when God saw the builders of the Tower of Babel, He scattered them and confused their language. Starting at Pentecost and in other New Testament accounts, He reconciled the languages back to His use and beyond human understanding. Jesus instructed His hearers to not sew new patches onto old garments. The new woven fiber patch is the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. The old garments are the religions, teachings and traditions of man. Are you willing to experience the fullness of Christ or do you desire to stay in the comfort of, “How we have always done things?”

Finally, when Jesus met with Moses and Elijah on the Mount of Transfiguration, Peter said it was good that he was there. He asked if he should put up three shelters. God said, “This is my Son whom I love, listen to Him.” (Matthew 17:5)

The question is: Will you tacitly or directly use prophecy and other means to perpetuate pagan religions, their idols and symbols, leading to persecution of the saints and a new world order, or will you prophesy on God’s behalf? If God inspires you to change things up and allow Him to direct, will you be like Peter and say, “Let’s start a building project” or “Let’s confine God to our perception and make a name for ourselves.”

Will you pray for the revival of fire and the Holy Spirit and ask God to show you what that means?
