Ever since I was saved I have had a great openness to change the world for Christ. But first there were some things that had to be dealt with in my life that had never been dealt with before, because no one knew the issue was there. I am speaking of having been diagnosed with Bi-polar II Disorder in 2007, something I have had my whole life but didn’t realize I had it. The condition was brought on by having been sexually abused as a child. After many psych hospital stays between 2000 and 2007, one doctor finally realized why I was in and out so much and diagnosed the bi-polar.

After 5 ECT’s and the right medication, I began to feel better and only entered the hospital one time after that. But it wasn’t until August 2010, after battling with the fact of being bi-polar, that God finally said enough is enough, and that it was time to set me free from the fight to know who I truly was. God helped me to understand, through a couple of books by actor Patty Duke who also has bipolar, that I myself am not bi-polar; I only have bi-polar. When my spirit finally took hold of that belief I finally felt freer than I ever had in my entire life. I still have bi-polar, but am now on the right meds that keep me very stable these days.

What does this have to do with the above question? Everything! Once God set me free from the battle that Satan definitely placed upon me, I finally began to see who I was in Christ and just how much He loves me. In this newfound freedom, I pulled out the outline for I book I wanted to write for God called “Faith, Hope & Love” and began to write the outline as a series of articles that I post on www.faithreaders.com. These articles come pouring out of me when I write them since I know the Holy Spirit guides my writing because the words flow so easily onto the pages. God has taken my desire to get His word out and multiplied it a hundredfold just as He said He would. I don’t know how many people have been saved because of these articles, but I know God does and that’s all I need to know.

Knowing that it was God who instructed me to go to Ohio Christian University, and had provided the funding I need to continue going, I believe that He has a future for me where I can get His Word out in a big and exciting way. I look at people like Joyce Meyer and know that that is what I want to do for the sake of Christ. I am open to anything God has for me in the future. I just continue studying and going to school until He tells me I am ready to go out into the world and reach it in the way He wants me to. Believe me: I truly expect it to happen, and very much look forward to it.
