He made us, a blue ribbon being, with heaven shaped in our genetic makeup. He took the dust of the ground and molded and shaped the newly created clay until it resembled the idea He had conceived in eternity. When it was just as He had always planned, He knelt down and breathed the very air of heaven into man’s lungs and brought forth life from nothing.

When sin was dealt its final blow, and He had completed the victory over death He sat down to receive the glory due Him as the Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world. He invites me to join Him in His throne room, to worship and praise Him for Who He is, and what He has done. He has clothed me in His righteousness and fitted me for His kingdom by His great love. He bestows the glory that is only His on me and asks me to glorify Him alone.

Why then must I run after glory? I will go to great lengths to do things that bring me glory… my home, my job, my ministry, my family. I will not hesitate to fight for my own honor. All the while failing to give Him the recognition He alone deserves….
What is there in me that He did not put there?

What ability do I possess that He did not give me?

What is there that I have that did not come from Him?

My complete purpose in life is to bring Glory and Honor and Praise to my Creator, my Redeemer. First of all from my heart, then from my obedient hands, and finally from the world around as I serve and live out the life He has given me… all to the glory of God.
