He overcame the world
but not like Alexander the Great
He overcame the world
but not with paintings like those of Michelangelo

He overcame the world
but not with masterpiece compositions like those of Beethoven or Mozart
He overcame the world
but not like the genius Albert Einsten

He overcame the world
but not with a sword like Mohammed
He overcame the world
but not like Jim Caviezel's acting capabilities

He overcame the world
with an old rugged, gory cross willingly laying down His life

Yet not even Alexander the Great
can match Him in all his military prowess and conquests
Yet not even Michelangelo
could do 'oil on canvass' as nearly beautiful as the painting with His blood on the wooden cross

Yet not even Beethoven or Mozart
could compose a music so redeeming in its impact as He did
Yet not even Albert Einstein's genius
could have thought up man's salvation as He did

Yet not even Mohammed's bloody Jihad
could command such obedience as He received from His followers
Yet not even Jim Caviezel in all his artistry
could portray a character to show redeeming love as He did

Who could this man be?
That saves the world with an unseeming cross?
He is Jesus my Saviour! He is Jesus my LORD!!
Who is He to you?
