How mellow is the stream!
Oozing forth from God’s mercy land,
Dazzling in the beam,
Flows down, down the heart of men.
How sweet is its mercy band!
Heralding down from Calvary’s brow
Washing me, cleansing me since I began,
Makes me at His feet humbly bow.


Tap! Tap! Tap! Who makes the sound?
Tis the mercy drop of the Holy band
Falling on me drops abound,
Makes me sing of the glory land,
Yea! God’s Stream of mercy never ceasing,
In the dry land, in the dry heart.
His in-spring of mercy is everlasting.


If your tears streaming in dry season,
Jesus beacons you—
Come to me, I will give you water to drink
From a spring of water, welling up to a life everlasting. (John4:12)
