He chose me not because of my morality
He chose me not because of my holiness
He chose me not because of my righteousness
He chose me not because of my ingenuity

He chose me so I could be the righteousness of God in Him
He chose me to conform to the image of His dear Son
He chose me to display His grandiose splendor in a dark and fallen world
He chose me only by and because of His grace

This grace, so amazing, is greater than all my sins
This grace, always in sufficient amounts, will keep me
This grace will supply all that I have need of
This grace helps me to live soberly, godly and righteously in this sinful world

This Grace spelled God's-Riches-At-Christ's-Expense bled on a
wooden cross for my redemption
All that I am, all that I have done, all that I will become is by this grace alone
Tis' this grace in the past, tis' still this grace, and when all have been said and done,
T'll still be this grace
And for this grace I am grateful!
