People say we have to live a good life on this earth so that we may reach heaven in the next life. Where is heaven? Should we wait till our death to reach this heaven?

Why do they say that if you lead a bad life you will go to hell? Heaven is thought to be a pleasant place of happiness while hell is thought to be a place of torture and punishment. If you analyze making a life of heaven or a hell is in your own hands. If you try you can make it either pleasant or painful on this earth itself.

You can make heaven only on this earth. Have ever heard any story of people starving in hell? Or have you heard that souls live in a shared life in heaven? Just imagine if people live a life of sharing, will this earth not become a heaven of perfect happiness? This earth can be made a heaven if all people on this earth realize that all are the children of the same God the Father and embrace one another in selfless love? If everyone shares everything with others, will there be a any need for anyone? If there is no need or greed and every one is contented, is it not a life of heavenly bliss?

It is the ego that leads to greed and power and cause all sufferings and chaos. When this ego is lost, everyone is immersed in the perfect love of God.

It is the selfish ego that makes the earth a hell.
In the early days of Christianity, people lived a life of selfless love and everyone was contented in life. Nobody was in any need. Everything was shared in common. The early Christians could find heaven on this earth itself. People wondered at their greatest happiness and appreciated their love.

“All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had. With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all that there were no needy persons among them.” (Acts: 4: 32-34)

Why can we do the same and make this earth a heaven?
