The mouth of the righteous utters wisdom, and his tongue speaks justice. We should speak of God's forgiveness for the guilt of our sins, through the sacrifice of His own Son. Shout for joy, sing, praising and exalting God Most High. Bless the Lord at all times. Magnify the Lord. Rejoice and be glad in God's loving kindness. Proclaim with the voice of thanksgiving, and declare all His wonders. Speak of Christ's redeeming love. Boast in the name of the Lord our God. Speak of His mercy and justice. Tell of His awesome works, declaring upon our lives His faithfulness and sovereignty. Let us encourage one another. Let the words of our mouth and the meditation of our hearts be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord. Sometimes I think that we fill our hours of the day with so many worthless words that do not bring any edification or encouragement to others or for that matter bring praise to Almighty God. If we took a look at our speech and what flows from our hearts and pondered that for awhile, what would we see? For out of the heart the mouth speaks. I know I am trying to work on this daily and by no means have reached perfection in this area, however, with a willing heart to change, the Lord can do wonders. Something to ponder on~There would be no time left in a day to allow useless and wasted words that don't lift up Christ or my fellow man. Are our days spent thinking on things that are true, pure, noble, just, lovely, and of good report? The word of God tells us, "we need to practice these things, and the God of peace will be with us!"
