Temperance is the managing to remain who you are in the wake of adverse surrounding circumstances.

Now, because the mind is the hive of all activity (or at least the heart) before any manifestations take place; one's state of being can be devised by a change in circumstances surrounding him or her.

This is the act of the devil, because men's lives are built on purpose; and it is only the path of the man or woman who does not sway from his deliberate purpose from piety which succeeds.

If it takes you little to sway; you are short tempered and thus NOT temperament. If it takes you more before you sway; you are simply long tempered but still NOT temperament.

It is the man or woman whose sole purpose and commitment to piety and deed is established and never swayed who succeeds. I pray that you succeed In all that you do, and never sway, in Jesus Christ's name, Amen.
