Drifting ‘neath the ocean
In solitude
Captive to emotions above
Yet still
Sunrays filter through
Darkness within
Rainbows flitter past
Endless waltz
Echoes of a memory
Seldom heard
Beat in time, melodious
Cries upon my heart
Looking upward cautiously
Wet tears
Washed by endless love
Love vast as the ocean
I swim toward the light
Peace surrounds
Through calm or billows
Cleansed and healed
The music pierces all hurt and pain
Soul is free
Swirling across Heaven’s floor
In robes of white unseen
In His arms He holds me close
And will forever
My heart’s in His and captive
Dancing the endless waltz
