Don't compare but accept who you are in Christ.


Many times as individual we spend most of our lives if not all, comparing ourselves with other individual. This is a bad habit/ spirit to have, which can hinder individual from reaching that destination God has in store for them because they are occupied themselves walking in someone else in shoes and path. It should not be so! The bible declares that God is not a respecter of man, so why do we as individual become a respecter of man instead of God? The world has brainwash many individual (even those who are Christians) to take certain images within their lives and live that way. For example - certain pastors in small churches will imitate other big pastors so that their church can be as big as them. But one thing these pastors are forgetting is that, those pastors are not the ones they should look up to or imitate, instead it should be God. God is the one that first establish their branch and He is the only one who is going to take the branch from glory to glory.
Another example is that, many people will rely on the media for a certain look and the funny thing is that, those who control the media are human beings like themselves. Only God can direct and lead you in the right path.

Christ facing the same things we face, shows us we can relate to Him on an individual basis...you don't have to know Him through someone else, or compare yourself to be like someone else but aim to know Him and know your true self in Him.
You don't need compare yourself to be like anybody but know who you are in Christ and be yourself (the person God has made you to be).
