What is the meaning of Christmas?

This question entered into my spirit this morning. Taking time to contemplate, I answered it with the following statement.

Christmas means to give honor to the name of Jesus Christ. How great is the day of my birth and the birth of all before and after me. Birth is life. Life is the beginning growth into Love, Peace and a Joy filed expression of purpose, fulfillment in right living. Many have been born, but only a remnant live with purpose as the Lord and Savior illustrated.

Christmas means keeping the name of Christ relevant. As those who are loyal to the world of fostering desires to game others, thinking they have achieved everlasting significance. Never stopping to consider how and why their relationships have failed and why they feel so empty, after accomplishing their objectives. All the while, those focused on Christ, are linked to an ever growing body of good. Knowing that come what may, over the test of time. Joy, Peace and assured Rest in doing what is right brings fulfillment not emptiness.

As to the War on Christmas, this theme will come and go over time. Our humanistic culture along with an antichrist spirit pursues the remnant with testing, challenging us not to offend non-Christians. You don’t see Hanukkah or Ramadan being attacked with such fervor do you? God introduced "Good News" which brings Salvation. Humanistic culture introduced conflict to God’s Plan until the end of human age. So, I’ll continue to use Merry Christmas as my Mantra in keeping Jesus Christ relevant in a humanistic culture and antichrist driven world.
