Our Lord Jesus Christ said and taught many things while He was here and walked the surface of the planet Earth. He was a living example for those who witnessed the great phenomenon of God in the flesh.

Teaching and setting examples He showed the true way to divine reconciliation after the fall of man, the way back to God almighty, that it is possible to achieve ALL things IN THE FLESH even with all its flaws.

Yes, cynics do say that ,’after all He is God and divine’, remember the Bible says He left ALL His divinity and Glory in Heaven in all humility to experience all that the flesh experiences teaching us how to kill fleshly desires in the process.

The most important of all the lessons taught is LOVE.
Loving like God loves is a very DIFFICULT thing to do in the flesh.

Loving those that love us is quite easy(though some find it difficult to love even those who love them in return… this is an entirely different TOPIC!) to do but loving continually and NOT hating in return, the one who hates you and repeatedly hurts you is a GREAT thing to do!... John 3:16
Matthew 11:29-11:30

Jesus admonished us true believers to forsake all earthly and mortal possessions and FOLLOW HIM.

Many Eulogies were said and encomiums were poured forth on a man in the past week, the man Mandela was indeed an outstanding figure and individual.

MADIBA ROLIHLAHLA MANDELA as he is fondly called by those who love and were close to him was finally laid to rest on Sunday the 15th December 2013

So many around the Globe had a lot of good things to say about him, especially those who had once come in contact with him
The most amazing and outstanding of all his character traits (like Dr Martin Luther King Jnr.) was his GENUINE inner peace and calm which was radiated towards all in love for ALL humanity.

He suffered and took beatings for this same cause which claimed the lives of many of his colleagues who also believed in same while he lost 27 years of his life behind the oppressor’s bars but this did not rob him off what had been divinely deposited in him, LOVE; he taught those who felt oppressed and cheated to not retaliate in vengeance and bitterness but to lovingly exude love to win over hate and live in peaceful harmony disregarding all divides.

This is simply an outstanding character trait, not many ever display such in a life time but it is what JESUS WANTS OF US WARD!

Church going, great knowledge of the Bible (from Genesis to Revelations), the talent of oratory and a gentle and calm manner of speaking and acting (remember the devil is described to also KNOW how to BE an angle of LIGHT!) all these do not score points as a disciple and follower of JESUS CHRIST.

Love for the next person does!
Love disregarding AL TYPES OF DIVIDES, the many partitions that we build in our minds about those who are ‘not like us’, this a good walk in the right direction to the most High… the true “long walk to freedom”.

Our Lord Jesus Christ took the fall for us when He had NO sin, He was rubbished and made-out to be dirt…hung on a wooden cross as common thieves and criminals were, spat upon and given bad names (…just to hang Him) but He took it all because He realized we were all headed for ETERNAL suffering in HELL FIRE…”Father forgive them for they know not what they are doing”-oh what a man!
