BIRD ON A LIMB......why are you THERE?
YOU should be flying through the air!
Your wings can loose you from the land.....
You frustrate gravity's demand.....
But on a limb.....you preen a feather.
Do you sense a danger in the weather?

BIRD ON A LIMB.....you look at me
As if more like YOU.....I should be.
If you could talk.....I think you'd say,
"It's YOU that ought to fly away.
I KNOW why I'M not in the air.
Are YOU as sure of why YOU'RE THERE?"
