The One Who Speaks for me
Took away the hurt, the pain
For I once was lost, but found
In the One Who took my stains
Washed me white as snow
Now I believe
Now I know my name
Is written in the One Who Speaks for me

I rise up with the sun
Know life has begun
With the One Who knows my name
With the One Who took my blame
For without the One Who gave me something
Worth living for, everything
I rise up in His light
Know His power’s my might
Alive, saved, forgiven, walk free
In the One Who speaks for me

The One Who Speaks for me
Gave me joy and peace and rest
Was once broken and alone
Until I found love instead
Of burnt, empty dreams
That wasted me
Then I found my heart
Soaring towards the One Who Speaks for me

I like this poem very much. It's comforting to know that we have Jesus who is continually praying, speaking to the Father on our behalf.

He also fights our battles for us. It's awesome to know that all we have to do is call on Him and He comes to our rescue!

I think you did a good job on this poem. I look forward to reading more of your articles.
