God; Supernatural?

I am often amazed when I hear people refer to God as some-thing "super-natural", especially when I hear Christian folk use the term. Is our God not a natural force and element of our lives? The pre-sence of God in Christian lifestyles especially is always promoted as a thing of normality. Why is it then that so many people use the term "super-natural" and apply it to God? I find this a phenomena on its own!

Perhaps this is why the "God debate" has festered so long in much of society and caused so much grief in many peoples lives. The word super-natural implies that some-thing is "not normal", at least by my English speaking standards. I do not find the pre-sence of the Spirit of God to be anything out-of-the-ordinary or extraordinary as some might use the term. I find the presence of God in my life very "normal" and am always mystified to find people use the term for God's pre-sence in their lives as being a "super-natural" element.

Is not the pre-sense of God the most natural life-force humanity has to its credit as a superior race over all others on earth? I believe this is why we were blessed with "free Will", the will to choose how we might live, choices we can make that enable us to speak with God directly. These abilities other kingdoms such as plant and animals species do not have, they are not Made by God to have will-power of their own, for they are to "Serve" man-kind. However, man-kind was designed to Serve God and by doing so would also be Serving each other.

In conclusion to my very short Article I have placed here at FaithWriters, maybe some one can enlighten me as to why so many people, (especially Christians) consider the "God-concept" as Being a thing of "super-natural" status.

Thank you to all who have taken the time to read my short Article, God Bless!
