Deuteronomy 11;7-8
New King James Version (NKJV)
7 but your eyes have seen every great act of the Lord which He did. 8 “Therefore you shall keep every commandment which I command you today, that you may be strong, and go in and possess the land which you cross over to possess.
Grace and peace be upon you my brothers and sisters,
Last time we had the opportunity to share the word of God and the wisdom of God with you is when we were discussing getting prepared to possess the land and the first step which was emphasized was being obedient. Now if I may continue in that vain, because many of us find ourselves in a transitional time in our lives. You have been in this season too long and that is why God is preparing you to cross over, you have been in your season of lack long enough, you have been in your season of loneliness long enough, you have been at that job long enough, you have been without a job long enough....my brothers and sisters what I am saying to you is that your season is about to change. Your relationship is about to change, your health is about to change and yes, your finances are about to change...give God a praise for change! Just as your season is changing the children of Israel situations and circumstances were changing in Deuteronomy the 11th chapter verses 7-8 where God reminded them to keep every commandment but what jump out at me was when he said," That you may be strong". You will need strength during your transitional season. Where God is moving you, the strength of yesterday will not sustain you. You will need renewed vigor, renewed vision, renewed spirit and a renewed mind. While God is renewing your strength He says but remember....remember what your eyes have seen, remember what He has already done in your life, remember His greatness, His mighty hand and His outstretched arm! Remember that He has already brought you from a mighty long way! Why remember? You must remember that He is the same God, today, yesterday and forever more! He is God who change not! He has been our Jehovah Jireh, our provider way back then, we must be certain that He will provide for us again! As you prepare for your transitional season remember to be strong and of good courage because God is with you. Your change has already begun! Halleluiah and thank you Jesus!
