Psalm 13:5-6
‘But I trust in your unfailing love. I will rejoice because you have rescued me. I will sing to the LORD because he is good to me.'

God to me is amazing, his love, his grace and his compassion to me despite my failings blows my mind! When I look back on all he has done for me and what he has overcome in my life, my heart is stirred towards Him and serving Him. His word is ever true and he guides me upon his path. Though becoming like him may seem like a narrow way to go, he provides me with the power, the love and the discipline I need through the magnificent gift of the Holy Spirit . Through him I can accomplish all He is calling me to! (Philippians 4:13). In Him I have the victory over all things in my life and He allows me to walk in the freedom that He walked in when He was on Earth! He is the Almighty God capable of all things and not only is he the creator of the entire universe, he is ever close to those who call on him! And he is a Friend to all those who trust in Him! What a privilege to know the living God in this way! Despite my old sinful nature, He has brought me close through his son Jesus who I can call a friend, my redeemer, and the Lord of my life! Everyday I know He walks with me because He promises this through his word. Through reading the bible and prayer, he enables me to know him personally. This is incredible! His love for me is so incredible it makes me want to love others with his love, even though I sometimes don't. He has promised me eternal life and through Him I know I have assurance of salvation! Without Him, I would be lost, for he is my hope, my peace and I am made secure in His love. Even through times of trial I know he has a plan for me, for as His word says; He knows how to rescue the godly from trials! He is my all and my life!
