Is your Christian life average or normal? There is a big difference between the two. If you want to see God work in your life as you never have before then take to heart these life applications.

Always try to have a thankful attitude and recognize God's blessings when He sends them your way. Expect to be surprised with God's goodness and grace.

Identify specific areas of emotional and spiritual growth in your life.

Be in the Word of God on a regular and daily basis. A recent poll revealed that most Christians are not even reading the Bible consistently. A Christian can't expect to see growth take place in his or her life if the Bible is not being read.

Cut out the clutter and noise of the culture and technology as much as possible. Get rid of all negative or destructive influences that are interfering with you becoming the person God designed you to be.

Seek to identify and cultivate your own personal life mission. You DO have something that is unique to you that can help others and help build God's Kingdom work.

Do not necessarily expect God to deal with you in the same way He has helped other people. God knows what you need to have happen in your life that will cause you to grow and move you along in your spiritual journey. He will show His grace to you when you need it, and He will do it in the way that He knows is best.

Keep a journal of insights from Scripture, how God works in your life and relationships, or answered prayers.

Do what you can where you are, with what you have, to maximize your life in the lives of other people, using your individual gifts and strengths.

Ask yourself these 3 questions: What insights have you received from Scripture recently? Have you grown emotionally and spiritually in specific ways? How has God surprised you with His grace?

How many Christians have become complacent with their spiritual life because they attend church and prayer meetings, tithe, or partake in other spiritual activities or practices, but have never asked themselves the question, "Where is my life compared to where God desires it to be?" Are they pursuing God's unique purpose and mission for their life?

Determine to make your Christian life move from just being average to being normal. You will see God work as never before, and you will be living a positive and victorious spiritual life.
