On His first day God said

Let the day now show forth the light

And the darkness now be called the night

On His second day God said

Let  the waters all have expansion

That we may view Heavens mansion

On His third day God said

Let all the earth and sea now part

That food may grow and gardens start

On His fourth day God said

Let there be great lights for us above

The sun, moon and the stars to love

On His fifth day God said

Let the creatures be below and beyond

In life and death to their kind respond

On His sixth day God said

Let  animals now fill the earth after a kind

And man in My likeness to rule as defined

On His seventh day God said

My work is now complete and I will rest

And bless this day to forever stand the test

" This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made earth and heaven" ( Genesis 2:4)

Here in the very first chapter of God's word, we are introduced to the two main factions  of life. Those  being:  God and man. Here, for the first time in history, we are introduced to  God, the Almighty Creator of all things, revealing the ultimate object of his love—man

From this  scripture account of the creation, we find that God was  pleased with his work. Several  times, during His  creation, God stopped, observed his handiwork and saw that it was good(Genesis 1:4, 10, 12,18,21,25, ). And God was especially  pleased with His creation of man,  as He even  regarded this work  as "very good."  (Genesis 1:31).

So, let us just stop here to remind ourselves that we are part of God's creation. Even when you don't feel worthy of his satisfaction,  remember that God made you and is pleased with His handiwork  (2 Thess 1:11-12). Are you pleased with Him (Colossians 1:10) ? Have you given God a chance to show His "good pleasure" towards you  (Philippians 2:13)?

Why not come to him and give Him a chance to take over your world (Psalm 32:8-10).You see, you can never be good enough on your own, pay or work your way, or even have a righteous  friend or family member take your place. You must simply take Gods free grace, by your faith, and except Him as your Lord and Savior (Ephesians 2:8-9).
