ASLEEP IN NOD

Away off in the land of Nod
On shores where enemies trod
Perilous, unsafe and so far abroad
Down in Nod with Satan's applause

Along on the disastrous trail
So smitten, worn and frail
Living in Nod, the devils zone
Far from God on the Holy Throne

Come back to the land of living
Where God is love and forgiving
Start down the happy trail of life
Leave all bitter conflict and strife

Don't be careless and left behind
Walking thru life as if blind
There is a much better route
That's what real life is all about

Get on the happy trail today
Live holy and to God pray
It will lead you to the promise land
At home, on the golden strand
